OLD (TASTY) WAY
OVERVIEW
Come with us and discover the tasty foods and wines charatheristic of these cities! With this 3-day itinerary you will descover the sensartional heritage of these three northern Italy cities. The schedule is simple: one day for each of the cities: we will visit Bassano and its Military Memorial, a piece of history of Veneto, the Ponte degli Alpini, the Italian Army's specialist mountain infantry . And how about learning a little bit about how the typical grappa is made? Or make a cherry jam with the Ciliegie IGP of Marostica? We will get to know a little piece of Italy through its typical food and its well-known wine.
DAY 1 - Bassano
In Bassano we will get to know about the Venetian history by visiting the Military Memorial of Monte Grappa, one of the places where the First World War has been fought. Also Ponte degli Alpini, in the centre of the city is an important symbol for its history. We will then have a look inside the Poli museum, one of the typical products of Bassano, the grappa.
DAY 2 - Marostica
The second day we will visit Marostica, with its beautiful walls and castle. A particularity of this city is the square made as a chessboard, where every two years a fascinating cess game is held. Here we will have the opportunity to pick IGP Cherries and then make with our hands a special jam.
DAY 3 - Breganze
The third and last day we will visit Breganze, reaching it by bike we will admire the beautiful italian landscape. The wine of this city is absolutely characteristic, here we will taste the typical wine of Breganze.
